The novel "That Summer with You is Forever" by author Ho Diep Thanh Thanh has become a "publishing phenomenon" when it was released on October 30 and sold out 1,000 copies in a day, and is being reprinted with some adjustments.

“That Summer With You Is Forever” is the second love novel by author Ho Diep Thanh Thanh, currently a reporter for the Capital Women's Newspaper. The book revolves around the love story between a female doctor and a volunteer at the hospital during the pandemic. Throughout the love story with the hospital setting are optimism, faith and a human story imbued with humanity amidst the harsh difficulties of the situation.
After its launch and official release on October 30, the book sold out 1,000 copies in the first printing, after only 5 days. The author, the publisher - Dong Tay Culture Company Limited and Literature Publishing House decided to reprint the work to serve readers with some minor adjustments. The most notable adjustment in this reprint is the increase in font size, to serve older readers to read the book more easily. This means that the number of pages will increase to nearly 700 pages (instead of 552 pages as present).
Author Ho Diep Thanh Thanh shared: “I am very touched that my new work has been so well received and supported by readers. Although the work is a love story of a young couple in the middle of the pandemic, which is thought to be only suitable for young people, many middle-aged and older readers have bought and read my work. They responded that what makes them sympathize with the novel is the breath of life, humanity, fate, humanity... in the pandemic that everyone has experienced or witnessed.”

Her first book, “Finding You Among a Thousand Sparkling Stars,” was published in 2021, quite a large volume with 2 volumes. The common point of both books is the faith and optimism of the fates in life originating from the hospital, where people see most clearly the unhappiness, suffering and awakening of people.
The first draft of “That Summer With You Is Forever” was completed in the summer of 2021, during a period when the author and each of us seemed to not know where the world would go amid the Covid-19 pandemic. But it was not until 3 years later, when the pandemic had gradually receded into memory, that the author was calm enough to bring the haunting human stories of that day to readers.
With the humane messages that the novel brings, many Vietnamese artists have actively supported to bring the humane messages of the work to more young people, such as Dr. Meritorious Artist, Head of the Vocal Department of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, Tan Nhan, who spent 100 million to buy books to give to students, and the Golden Age Arts Center also bought 100 copies of the book to send to its students...
