Continue to pay attention to leadership and direction in building a team of female cadres.

On the morning of August 8, the working delegation of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) led by Comrade Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the VWU, and Comrade Pham Tat Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission, worked with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on female cadre work. Receiving and working with the delegation were Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; and leaders of the Provincial People's Committee.

Over the past years, the Party Committees and authorities at all levels in the province have always paid attention to leading and directing the work of building a contingent of female cadres, especially female cadres holding leadership and management positions. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has issued regulations and plans on cadre work, in which it specifically determines the proportion of female cadres in the planning of Party Committees, planning of leadership and management positions; the proportion of female cadres in Party Committees, Standing Committees of Party Committees, the proportion of female delegates to People's Councils at all levels, the proportion of women in key leaders and tasks and solutions for implementation. Every year, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Party Committees at all levels, leaders of agencies, units and heads all focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of cadre assessment in general and female cadres in particular. Develop plans for recruitment, selection, supplementary planning, develop plans for training and fostering female cadres to meet professional standards and political theory. Party committees and leaders of agencies and units always pay attention to considering and introducing female and young cadres with capacity and courage to supplement the planning and in the implementation of the appointment and nomination process. Many female cadres, when introduced to run for election and appointed to leadership and management positions, have promoted their capacity and strengths well, and together with the collective, completed the assigned political tasks.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and clarified the results achieved, issues related to female cadre work, and the proportion of female cadres participating in Party committees at all levels.

Speaking at the working session, Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council affirmed: Over the past years, Thai Binh has always paid attention to leading and directing the work of building a contingent of female cadres, especially female cadres holding leadership and management positions. This is demonstrated by the rotation of female cadres in the past term to ensure the criteria for cadre work in the province. In the coming time, the province will continue to closely follow the directives, resolutions, regulations, conclusions of the Party, policies and laws of the State on cadre work in general and female cadre work in particular. The Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee will focus on leading and directing the building and development of the province's female cadre team. Thereby, creating focused leadership and direction, paying attention to the selection and appointment of female cadres, increasing the proportion of female leaders and managers under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee as well as departments, branches and localities; Prepare female human resources for party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, and elect National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Through understanding the actual situation of female cadres in the locality, the President of the Vietnam Women's Union highly appreciated Thai Binh's efforts in training and fostering female cadres to participate in leadership positions and Party committees at all levels of the province in recent times.

He hoped that Thai Binh would continue to pay more attention to the work of female cadres at all levels; thoroughly grasp the Party's regulations, institutionalize the Party's policies through specific regulations, directives, and resolutions suitable to local conditions. Strengthen training courses to improve awareness and skills for female cadres. The Thai Binh Provincial Women's Union needs to effectively carry out the emulation movement to build Vietnamese women of the new era to continue to affirm the role of Vietnamese women in general and Thai Binh women in particular.
