On December 25, the Provincial Youth Union - Provincial Youth Union organized a summary of the work of the Youth Union - Association and youth movement in 2024; deployed tasks for 2025. Attending were comrade Phung Khanh Tai - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
Comrade Phung Khanh Tai - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee awarded the "For the Young Generation" Medal of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to two individuals.
In 2024, the Provincial Youth Union directed the Youth Union at all levels to achieve and exceed 12/12 set targets. Implementing the 2024 working theme "Year of Youth Volunteers", the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province have proactively developed and implemented programs and activities of the Union in a diverse and innovative direction. Revolutionary emulation movements and programs to accompany youth were deployed in a focused and key manner. During the year, 17 provincial-level youth projects and tasks were implemented; 67 district-level youth projects and tasks; 788 grassroots youth projects and tasks were implemented. The whole province organized communication on consulting, orientation, and job introduction for 52,288 young union members; supported 22 innovative start-up projects for young people. The work of building the Union and expanding the solidarity front to gather young people continued to achieve high results. Currently, the whole province has 197,418 young people, 132,468 of whom have been gathered into organizations, reaching a rate of 67.1%.
In 2024, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union directed all levels of the Union to successfully organize the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union at all levels; the 6th Provincial Youth Union Congress, term 2024-2029. The movement "I love my Fatherland" attracted the participation of a large number of young people. Currently, the whole province is effectively maintaining 62 youth volunteer teams "Lighting up the faith" with 958 members; 287 youth clubs and over 605 youth shock teams, youth propaganda teams... with over 3,200 cadres and young union members participating. In 2024, 250 regular volunteer activities were carried out, attracting thousands of young union members to participate.
Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phung Khanh Tai praised the achievements in the work of the Youth Union - Association and the youth movement in 2024. He requested that the Youth Union and the Youth Union at all levels focus on a number of key tasks: Continue to propagate and educate politics, ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and culture for young people, build propaganda content in a lively manner, suitable to the needs of young people. Regularly pay attention to and grasp the thoughts, aspirations and wishes of union members and members. Continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, expand the solidarity front, gather and attract young people into revolutionary movements, accompany young people to effectively carry out 3 breakthrough tasks in the 2022-2027 term.
For emulation movements, youth unions at all levels need to specify the contents according to youth groups, ages, and locations, in accordance with the conditions of the base, in which the young generation must take the lead and pioneer in the field of digital transformation. Focus on building a strong youth union organization, comprehensively consolidating and improving youth union organizations at all levels to ensure practical effectiveness; continue to promote the role of youth union organizations in participating in Party building, protecting the Party and the political system.
On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union awarded the Emulation Flag to 3 collectives, and Certificates of Merit to 12 collectives with achievements in the Youth Union and youth movement in 2024; the Provincial Youth Union Committee awarded the Emulation Flag to 1 collective and Certificates of Merit to 12 collectives; 5 collectives and 10 individuals were commended for their outstanding achievements in loan entrustment activities for poor households and policy beneficiaries of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies in 2024.
