The conference to review 10 years of implementing Directive No. 39-CT/TW dated August 18, 2014 of the Politburo on strengthening internal political protection work in the current situation in the Central Public Security Party Committee and in the People's Public Security was held by the Central Public Security Party Committee this morning, May 28, 2024, in Hanoi. Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister in charge of operations of the Ministry of Public Security chaired the conference.
Attending the event, on the Central Party Committee's side, there were comrades: Hoang Dang Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; Nguyen Van Dinh, Deputy Director of the Internal Political Protection Department, Central Organizing Committee.
On the side of the Central Public Security Party Committee (CPPC), the Ministry of Public Security had the following members of the Party Central Committee, members of the Standing Committee of the CPPC, and Deputy Ministers: Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang and Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc.
Also attending were members of the Party Committee of the Central Police Department who are heads of several units under the Ministry; Party committees directly under the Party Committee of the Central Police Department, and Directors of Public Security of provinces and centrally-run cities.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To stated that since the Party's founding until now, especially through the Congresses, our Party has always paid attention to and attached importance to internal politics (ICP) and the work of protecting ICP, and subsequently issued many documents for leadership and direction, especially on August 18, 2014, the Politburo issued Directive No. 39 on strengthening the work of protecting ICP in the current situation. Immediately after the Directive was issued, the Standing Committee of the CATW Party Committee proactively issued Plan No. 115 to organize its implementation in the People's Public Security (PPP). Concluding the Conference, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To emphasized that the Party Committee of the Central Police and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security require Party committees, Party organizations, and Public Security of units and localities to continue to attach importance to and further improve awareness of "CTNB and CTNB protection work", identifying this as one of the important contents in Party building and political system building, including the Public Security Forces.
