On the afternoon of November 30, at the Party Central Committee headquarters, Comrade Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission, received the delegation of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference led by Comrade Wang Yong, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, on the occasion of the delegation's visit to Vietnam and participation in the second Friendship Exchange between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and between the Fatherland Fronts of 7 border provinces of Vietnam and the Political Consultative Conferences of 2 provinces/autonomous regions of China sharing a common border.
Comrade Truong Thi Mai welcomed Comrade Vuong Dung and the delegation to visit Vietnam and coordinate to successfully organize the second Friendship Exchange between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Chinese National People's Political Consultative Conference, especially in the context of the two countries celebrating the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership.
The Standing Committee of the Secretariat congratulated the great and historic achievements that the Party, State and People of China have attained in recent times; and believed that, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China with General Secretary and President Xi Jinping as the core, the Party, State and people of China will successfully achieve the set goals.
Comrade Truong Thi Mai affirmed that the Party, State and People of Vietnam always appreciate and are grateful for the valuable assistance and support of the Party, State and people of China for Vietnam's struggle for national independence and the cause of building socialism and developing the country.
He affirmed that China is the top priority in Vietnam's foreign policy and expressed his joy at the positive and substantive development of Vietnam-China relations in recent times.
Appreciating the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in the political and social life of each country, especially in promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, comrade Truong Thi Mai praised the cooperation results between the two organizations in recent times and their positive contributions to strengthening the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
He suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Chinese National Committee of the CPPCC continue to strengthen practical cooperation activities in the coming time; promote exchanges between people of all walks of life, especially in border areas; and work together for the development of the two countries, contributing to peace, stability and development in the region and the world.
Comrade Vuong Dung expressed his pleasure in visiting Vietnam and sincerely thanked Comrade Truong Thi Mai for taking the time to receive the delegation. He congratulated the great and comprehensive achievements that the Vietnamese people have made in socio-economic development, improving people's lives and deeply believed that under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam headed by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the Vietnamese people will continue to achieve even greater achievements, making Vietnam increasingly strong and developed.
Comrade Vuong Dung shared the successful results of the second Friendship Exchange as well as some major cooperation results between the Chinese CPPCC and the Vietnam Fatherland Front, thereby contributing to fostering the friendly relationship between the two countries' Parties, States and peoples.
Comrade Wang Yong affirmed that the Chinese CPPCC will continue to closely coordinate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front to effectively implement the instructions and common perceptions of the two countries' senior leaders, promote its core role in promoting people-to-people cooperation to enhance mutual understanding and trust, friendship, and contribute to developing the relationship between the two Parties, two countries and two peoples to new heights.
