On December 26, Ms. Tran Thi Minh Ly, Head of the Department of Labor - Employment and Vocational Education (Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) said that up to now, 106 enterprises have reported their expected Tet bonus in 2024.

Of the 500 enterprises in the province surveyed, 106 enterprises submitted reports on labor, salary, bonus, and salary arrears.

In 2023, the average salary for employees in the enterprise sector will be 7.75 million VND/person/month. The highest salary earner will be 104.05 million VND/month; the lowest salary earner will be 3.3 million VND/month.

Regarding New Year's bonuses, 61/106 enterprises plan to give New Year's bonuses in 2024 to more than 9,500 employees with an average bonus of 1.92 million VND/person, the highest is 81.92 million VND/person, the lowest is 100,000 VND/person.

Regarding the Lunar New Year bonus, 77/106 enterprises plan to reward 13,496 employees with an average bonus of 5.49 million VND/person, the highest is 70 million VND/person, the lowest is 100,000 VND/person.

To date, there are 5 enterprises that owe wages to 170 employees with a total amount of more than 5.3 billion VND. The enterprises that owe wages include the following sectors: construction (3 units) and forestry (2 enterprises). The reasons are difficulties in production and business activities, waiting for payment sources, or waiting for dissolution...
