According to Neowin , Samsung's upcoming foldable smartphone is said to come with the same camera set as its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, which will be released in 2023. More importantly, this includes both the front and rear cameras of the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

The camera parameters on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 have not changed compared to its predecessor.

This information comes from leakster IceUniverse, who claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 6's camera specs are not what we'd expect, at least in terms of hardware as it will be the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 5. While Samsung may not bring any hardware changes, some software tricks seem to be in the works for the company's next foldable smartphone.

If the rumors are correct, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will arrive with a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP 3x telephoto camera. The under-display camera on the front will have a 4MP resolution, while the outer display is said to come with a 10MP selfie camera.

Responding to the user's comment, IceUniverse also said that Samsung could keep all the camera upgrades for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra, which would set the phone apart from its competitors as well as the base models as there are rumors that Samsung will launch a low-cost version of the product line.

Previously, IceUniverse also revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will come with a 4,400 mAh battery and support 25W wired charging like the Galaxy Z Fold 5. In terms of processor, it will come with the latest Galaxy Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 6 at its second Galaxy Unpacked event this year, which is expected to take place around July 2024, before the Paris Olympics begin.
