Hong Loc Tuu Sim Wine is made from two main ingredients: wild sim and brown rice wine. Every year from June onwards, ripe sim fruits in Dai Loc mountain are harvested and selected for quality.
Then, the sim is washed and drained, dried in the sun for 2-4 hours, then put into a ceramic jar, poured with wine to cover the sim fruit and sealed tightly. The wine is made from cleaned brown rice, strictly tested probiotics, cool spring water, and a brewing method that combines tradition and modernity, creating a unique flavor.
Mr. Tran Dinh Duyen - owner of Hong Loc Tuu sim wine production facility said that after distillation, the wine is de-anded with toxins through an advanced filtration system, ensuring that the characteristic flavor is preserved while being absolutely safe for users. After a period of soaking, the combination of ripe sim and wine creates a gentle aroma, light brown color, sweet taste, slightly astringent.
“In addition to its delicious taste, sim wine is also known for its many uses such as supporting the digestive system, anti-aging, blood circulation, etc. Therefore, this is a popular drink. Currently, thanks to investing in new technology in the production process as well as being properly communicated, Hong Loc Tuu sim wine has been known and trusted by customers inside and outside the province,” said Mr. Duyen.
In 2021, with the support of the Dai Loc district agricultural sector and local authorities, Mr. Duyen's facility participated in the "One Commune One Product" - OCOP program and was ranked 3 stars at the provincial OCOP level. Recently, the facility has received support from superiors in setting up packaging, logos, labels, and promotional websites.
At the same time, Hong Loc Tuu regularly participates in introducing products at fairs and exhibitions in and outside the province. Thanks to that, consumption output is increasing rapidly. It is estimated that in 2024, the facility will produce and supply more than 3,000 liters of wine to the market, with revenue of about 96 million VND, an increase of 20% compared to 2023.

In particular, ensuring that products meet food hygiene and safety requirements, applying advanced production processes such as VietGAP, ISO, HACCP... to create high-quality products. At the same time, promoting on e-commerce platforms, creating a spread of product brands to consumers" - Mr. Duyen shared.
