On the afternoon of October 29, members of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to contribute opinions to consider and approve the contents to be submitted to the upcoming Provincial People's Council meeting and the contents under their authority.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Ngoc Nghi and other Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee co-chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing, contributing opinions and unanimously approving the contents of the draft Resolution to be submitted to the upcoming Provincial People's Council Special Session, including: Resolution on adjusting the 2024 public investment plan from local budget sources; Resolution on approving the investment policy of the Project: Emission Reduction in the Central Highlands and South Central Coast of Vietnam to contribute to the implementation of the goals of the National REDD+ Action Program in Dak Lak province. Accordingly, the Project aims to reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation by addressing factors in the agriculture and forestry sector, encouraging strategic and effective investment to restore and sustainably manage forest areas; empowering and improving the adaptive capacity of target communities and institutions to improve livelihoods, reduce poverty in the community and better respond to climate change.
Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Hoai Duong spoke at the meeting.
In addition, delegates also agreed to develop draft resolutions to be submitted to the 9th Session of the 10th Provincial People's Council, including: Regulations on the level of social assistance policy payments for social protection beneficiaries through payment service organizations in Dak Lak province; Regulations on the authority to decide on the management and use of public assets; authority to decide on the purchase of goods and services; authority to decide on investment and purchase of information technology application activities under the management of Dak Lak province.
Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha spoke at the meeting.
In addition, delegates also discussed and agreed on the content of the draft Decision of the Provincial People's Committee regulating the area of agricultural land used to build works directly serving agricultural production in Dak Lak province.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Ngoc Nghi emphasized that, based on some comments from delegates, relevant departments and branches will continue to complete documents to ensure quality and progress for the People's Committee to submit to the upcoming Provincial People's Council meeting.
