Dien Bien Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong works with FPT Group

Dien Bien TV - On the morning of February 20, in Hanoi, a working delegation of Dien Bien province led by comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, and leaders of a number of departments, branches, and Dien Bien District People's Committee had a working session with FPT Group.

Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, FPT Group leaders informed the province about its fields of operation and outstanding results that FPT has achieved in the fields of technology, telecommunications, and education.

FPT Group's leaders proposed to Dien Bien province to build FPT Education Complex in Dien Bien Phu city and some districts including: FPT University, vocational training (primary, secondary, college) and general education (primary, secondary, high school);

Propose cooperation contents with Dien Bien province in science and technology development and digital transformation. Focusing on digital transformation in state administration, implementing a one-level public administration model, applying digital data in management and operation, developing digital economy and digital society in some key areas, and training high-quality human resources.

FPT Corporation proposed that Dien Bien province support in introducing locations for school construction, supporting related legal procedures and having preferential policies to attract investment in education in the area. FPT committed to completing the construction of the school and putting it into operation within 1 year from the date of completion of land and construction procedures.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, highly appreciated the results that FPT Group has achieved, especially in the fields of technology, telecommunications, education, etc., thereby contributing to promoting the development of science, technology and education in the country, including Dien Bien province.

The Provincial Party Secretary reviewed the innovations in the application of science and technology by our army and people in the resistance war against France. At the same time, he hoped that FPT would not only be a strong technology group to reach out to the world but also be soldiers on the science and technology front, contributing to preserving the heroic history of the nation, and cooperating to help Dien Bien become a province with a developed science and technology industry.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested FPT Corporation to urgently coordinate with the provincial authorities to soon select a suitable location and immediately implement procedures to build the FPT Education Complex in the shortest time. Coordinate with the Department of Information and Communications to advise the province on implementing tasks to promote the development of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.
