On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the town's liberation and 20 years of building and developing Thai Binh city, on the afternoon of June 18, the City People's Committee held a conference to honor typical cultural families in 2024.

In recent times, the movement to build cultural families in the city has developed extensively, has spread widely, and has improved quality, contributing to socio-economic development, maintaining political security and social order and safety. The registration, evaluation, and recognition of the title of cultural family are carried out strictly, democratically, publicly, and in accordance with regulations. The rate of families registering and meeting cultural standards is increasing. In 2023, the whole city had 98.1% of families registering to build cultural families; through evaluation, nearly 59,000 families met the standards, accounting for 93.6% of the total number of families. 38 typical cultural families were commended and rewarded.

In 2024, the city strives for the rate of families registering for cultural families to reach over 98%, and 94.3% meeting the standards of cultural families. To achieve that goal, the city focuses on disseminating and widely disseminating documents regulating the fields of family, cultural lifestyle, and civilized urban lifestyle; strengthening the direction, guidance, urging, and inspection of the organization and implementation of movements at the grassroots level; linking the implementation of the movement to build cultural families with promoting emulation movements.
