On the morning of December 7, Vung Tau High School (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) held a ceremony to celebrate its 70th anniversary and receive the Second Class Labor Medal.
This is the second time the oldest school in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has been honored to receive the above noble award.
Previously, Vung Tau High School was awarded the First, Second and Third Class Labor Medals along with many certificates of merit and emulation flags from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
70 years ago, when the school was first established, there were only two classes with more than 100 students. Now, this number has increased to about 50 classes, with nearly 2,500 students.

In recent years, the graduation rate has always been 100%, many students have won high prizes in provincial and national competitions for excellent students. The school is honored to be in the top 100 high schools with the highest university entrance exam scores in the country.
At the same time, it is in the top 200 schools that are given priority for direct admission to schools in the Ho Chi Minh City National University system and other prestigious universities through reviewing academic records.
It is noteworthy that many generations of students of this school have been successful, becoming pillars in their fields of work. The success of generations of students of Vung Tau High School is a testament to the quality of education of the school.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, Principal of Vung Tau High School, said that in order to continue the tradition and meet the requirements of the times, in the coming period, the school will focus on improving quality, innovating methods, and applying digital transformation to teaching and learning.
Not only focusing on knowledge, the school focuses on training skills, promoting creativity and self-study spirit so that each student has the conditions to develop comprehensively.
