Thanh Hoa has the second 5-star OCOP product from Le Gia Company

Le Gia fish sauce is one of 28 products that have just been recognized by the Central OCOP Evaluation and Classification Council as achieving 5-star OCOP at the National level this time. On the morning of January 16, 2025, in Hanoi, the Central OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council met, evaluated and scored OCOP product classification. After evaluating and scoring the products, the Central OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council selected 28 products that met 5-star OCOP standards from 52 products scored in this period.
Le Gia fish sauce has achieved national 5-star OCOP certification.
In which, Le Gia fish sauce product - Special Essence 40N of Le Gia Food and Trading Service Company Limited (Le Gia fish sauce) was recognized by the council as a national 5-star OCOP product. According to Mr. Bui Cong Anh, Deputy Chief of the Office of New Rural Area Coordination of Thanh Hoa province, this is the second OCOP product of Thanh Hoa province to be recognized as a national 5-star worker. Previously, Le Gia company's shrimp paste product also achieved 5-star OCOP in 2021.
Le Gia fish sauce drops are fermented for 24 months using the traditional pressing method from sea fish and salt.
Sharing with Dan Viet Newspaper, Mr. Le Ngoc Anh, Director of Le Gia Food and Trading Service Company Limited, said that he was very happy that Le Gia fish sauce products were recognized as national 5-star OCOP products. Le Gia fish sauce products being recognized as national 5-star OCOP products not only affirms the quality and brand of Le Gia shrimp paste products to a new level but also opens up opportunities for good consumption of products in the domestic market and at the same time aims to export more widely to other countries.
Currently, Le Gia fish sauce is mainly exported to the following countries: EU, USA, Japan, Korea, Australia, China, Taiwan, Singapore...
According to Mr. Le Ngoc Anh, Le Gia fish sauce drops are fermented for 24 months using the traditional pressing method. The selected ingredients include fresh fish from Thanh Hoa sea, 2-year-old salt and absolutely no preservatives or additives.
This is the second product of Le Gia Food and Trading Service Company Limited to achieve 5-star OCOP.

It is known that products recognized as national 5-star OCOP must meet many criteria, including promoting the local agricultural product chain, demonstrating the uniqueness of local culture, meeting high standards and exporting.
