This is an important event, demonstrating goals and visions; pointing out development drivers for Thang Binh district to exploit and maximize its potentials and strengths to meet the socio-economic development requirements of the district in the new period.
Mr. Vo Van Hung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Thang Binh district said that the planning for the construction of Thang Binh district until 2030 was built on the basis of inheriting and developing the district's viewpoints through the periods, showing the will and aspiration of Thang Binh district to rise up with the goal of striving to become a driving force in the Southeast development strategy of the province.
Accordingly, by 2030, we strive to build Ha Lam urban area to expand connections with Binh Minh urban area and neighboring communes, upgrading Thang Binh district to a town. At the same time, we will increase people's income; prioritize the development of high-tech industry, new technology, and environmentally friendly technology; develop high-end riverside and coastal service and resort tourism industries; develop tourism in parallel with preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, history, craft villages, and protecting the ecological environment.
Thang Binh district focuses on developing high-tech agriculture, forest economy, hill garden economy, farm economy according to the combined agroforestry economic model; developing specialized medical services, attracting international general hospitals, specialized hospitals at regional and provincial levels, tourism combined with health care, resorts for the elderly, etc.
The district has gradually invested in synchronous and modern socio-economic infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure to facilitate connections in the North-South and East-West directions through the district. This is a highly ambitious development goal, requiring solidarity, unity, and the will to rise up of the entire political system, the support of businesses, investors, and the consensus of the people of the entire district.
