Tay Ninh welcomes more than 5 million visitors in 2023

On December 1, Tay Ninh province held the 31st Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference (year-end session). The conference focused on evaluating the implementation results of Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee in 2023; determining the main targets and tasks of the Provincial Party Committee in 2024 and a number of other important contents.

Reporting at the conference, Chief of the Office of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee Huynh Thi Hong Nhung said that the province's GRDP maintained positive growth momentum, higher than the national average.

Of which, the total provincial product (GRDP - at 2010 comparative prices) is estimated at 59,590 billion VND, up 6.12% over the same period. GRDP per capita is estimated at 3,931 USD.

The tourism industry continues to maintain an impressive growth rate, increasing both revenue and total number of visitors. In 2023, there were more than 5.1 million visitors to Tay Ninh, reaching 102% of the plan, up 13.2% over the same period.

According to Ms. Nhung, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee always maintain solidarity, unity, closeness, and determination in leading and directing the implementation of Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU and the Program, annual work plan, and resolutions, directives, and regulations of the Party in accordance with the working regulations of the Party Committee... At the same time, focus on inspection, supervision, and urging Party Committees, Party organizations, localities, agencies, and units to implement, promptly direct the correction of shortcomings, and resolutely and strictly handle violations.

National defense and security, foreign affairs, judicial reform, religion and ethnicity are seriously led and directed; the situation on the periphery and border is well grasped, and any arising situations are promptly handled...

Crime prevention work has been strengthened, all levels and sectors have promoted propaganda to raise awareness and vigilance among the people against the methods and tricks of criminals, contributing to stabilizing ideology, maintaining political security, social order and safety on the border and in the province...

In particular, proactively and effectively implementing foreign affairs programs and plans in accordance with the policies of the Party and State, all levels, sectors and localities continue to maintain and expand coordination and cooperation with a number of localities in Cambodia and South Korea, contributing to serving socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security.

In addition, Party committees, Party organizations, agencies and units must ensure the progress of a number of key tasks in Party building in terms of politics. Organization and ethics must comply with resolutions, directives, regulations and plans of the Party and the Provincial Party Committee, in conjunction with Project No. 02-DA/TU, Project No. 03-DA/TU, Project No. 05-DA/TU, Project No. 08-DA/TU.

Currently, the recruitment of new party members has exceeded the target set by the Resolution. As of November 30, the whole province had recruited 1,174 new members, of which 20 border commune party committees recruited 123 new party members.

Mass mobilization work, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations are oriented towards the grassroots, with innovative approaches, gradually promoting effectiveness.

In addition, actively coordinate to mobilize and implement social security work, care for union members, people of all walks of life, policy beneficiaries, poor and near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances, thereby strengthening people's trust and consensus in the Party's policies, State policies and laws, and the implementation of key programs and projects for socio-economic development in the area.
