The Tuyen Quang Newspaper Journalists Association has a total of 52 members working at 2 agencies and units: Tuyen Quang Newspaper and the Provincial Journalists Association. 100% of members have been granted membership cards of the Vietnam Journalists Association. Regarding educational level, 100% of members have college, university and postgraduate degrees, of which 7 comrades have master's degrees. Regarding politics, 32 members are Party members, of which 13 comrades have advanced political theory qualifications.
The Tuyen Quang Newspaper Journalists Association has promoted its role in gathering members and promptly implementing the instructions of the Provincial Journalists Association on association activities to all members. During the term, 10 new members were admitted, bringing the current total to 52 members. The association maintains and participates in sports, cultural and artistic activities and movements, visits and encourages sick members. 11 members were awarded the Medal for Journalism, 100% of members were awarded certificates of merit by the Tuyen Quang Provincial Journalists Association.
Members of the Tuyen Quang Newspaper Journalists Association have actively participated in innovating and improving the quality of press publications. Every year, the Association Secretariat has advised, coordinated the organization and participated in training courses to improve the professional qualifications of members.
The Association has deployed and mobilized members to actively participate in press competitions and awards organized by the Central and the province and won many high prizes. The Association Secretariat also regularly cares for and protects the legitimate and legal rights and interests of members; proposes to competent authorities to reward and encourage members with achievements in press activities and association activities.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Mai Duc Thong, Party Cell Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, assessed and acknowledged the achievements of the past term of the Tuyen Quang Newspaper Journalists Association, and pointed out the key tasks of the new term. In particular, the Tuyen Quang Newspaper Journalists Association needs to perform its role and functions better.
He emphasized that in the coming time, digital transformation of journalism is posing opportunities and challenges for journalists. Therefore, each member must actively cultivate political qualities, professional expertise, and master professional and modern journalism to meet the increasingly high demands of the public and readers in the new situation.
The Congress elected the Secretariat of the branch, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the branch for the 10th term, 2024-2026. Comrade Phan Viet Hoa, Party Cell Committee member, Head of the Electronic Newspaper Department, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Journalists Association, 9th term, 2022-2024 term, was re-elected Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Journalists Association, 10th term, 2024-2026 term.
