Focus on solving the land shortage among ethnic minorities

In 2024, within the framework of Project 1 under the National Target Program 1719, Khanh Hoa province will support residential land for 36 households, support housing construction for 1,231 households, support job conversion for 348 households, and invest in the construction of 5 centralized clean water works in the localities of Khanh Vinh, Cam Lam, and Cam Ranh city.

To achieve the set goals, Khanh Hoa province has developed and effectively implemented plans for projects, sub-projects and components of the 2024 Program. The focuses include solving housing, production land, job conversion, and domestic water supply issues; building a production linkage model according to the value chain; supporting production development and diversifying community livelihoods; promoting startups and attracting investment...

To effectively implement the contents of Project 1, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 04/2024/QD-UBND. Accordingly, households without residential land will be considered for residential land support. For households living on agriculture, forestry and fishery without production land, the local government will arrange land for direct production or support preferential credit loans from the Social Policy Bank in cases where land cannot be arranged. In particular, households lacking more than 50% of production land according to the norm, or having the need to change occupations, will also be considered for appropriate support, ensuring to meet actual needs and contribute to improving the sustainable lives of ethnic minorities and poor households in the period from 2021 to 2025.
