Muong Thanh Group takes over Hoang Anh Gia Lai Hotel

Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, Muong Thanh Group representative said that this unit has officially taken over Hoang Anh Gia Lai Hotel (Gia Lai province). In the coming time, the group will make necessary renovations to operate this hotel, the specific content will be announced in detail later.

Hoang Anh Gia Lai Hotel is the property of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group, put into operation since December 2005, including 117 bedrooms, is the first 4-star standard project in the Central Highlands. This project owns a prime location, right at Phu Dong Square - the center of Pleiku city, next to the intersection of Hung Vuong - National Highway 19 - Nguyen Tat Thanh - Truong Chinh.

Hoang Anh Gia Lai, chaired by Mr. Doan Nguyen Duc (Bau Duc), sold this hotel to a company called Hoan Sinh Gia Lai Investment Company Limited in October 2023.

According to business registration information, Hoan Sinh Gia Lai was only established in June 2023, with a charter capital of 200 billion VND, founded by 2 shareholders, Mr. Do Xuan Duc (address in Quang Nam) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen (address in Binh Dinh). Of which, Mr. Duc owns 49% of the capital and Ms. Huyen owns 51% of the capital. Mr. Duc also holds the position of Director of the company.

Hoang Anh Gia Lai announced the sale of the hotel to pay off the bond debt issued in 2016 to the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV). The value of the transaction, according to Hoang Anh Gia Lai, is 180 billion VND.
