Strengthening the application of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning activities

In document 3034/SGDĐT-CTTT-KHCN sent to the Departments of Education and Training and affiliated educational institutions on the implementation of the task of applying information technology (IT) and digital transformation in the 2024-2025 school year, the Department of Education and Training noted that units continue to connect the education and training database to improve the convenience and efficiency of education management; deploy digital transcripts; build a database of diplomas and certificates towards digital diplomas and digital certificates.

Schools are increasing the application of artificial intelligence in teaching, learning and educational management activities.

Units strengthen conditions to ensure technical infrastructure and IT application skills in management, administration, teaching, learning, nurturing, caring for, and educating children, testing, and evaluation in education; continue to build a national digital infrastructure for learning, a shared digital learning resource warehouse for the entire sector.

Along with that, increasing the application of artificial intelligence in teaching, learning and educational management activities along with developing solutions to ensure the safety of the digital learning environment; improving digital capacity for learners and teachers, educational managers; continuing to deploy the digital library system for the whole sector; effectively exploiting the digital science repository shared for the whole sector and the online question bank.

In order to carry out the task of digital transformation in teaching, learning and assessment, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires units to continue to effectively implement Circular No. 09/2021/TT-BGDDT regulating the management and organization of online teaching and learning. Specifically, units maintain and exploit the maximum benefits of learning management software (LMS) in online teaching and learning activities to make it an essential, daily educational activity for every teacher and every learner.

Schools increase the development of digital learning materials, contribute learning materials and effectively exploit the industry's shared learning materials warehouse in organizing teaching and assessment.

In addition, strengthen the implementation of regular and periodic assessments on the Hanoi Study system and the industry's communication applications; urge the deployment of educational communication software to enhance interaction between families and schools, support teachers in assigning homework to students, check and evaluate and coordinate with families in implementing educational activities.

The Department of Education and Training and schools regularly organize training to improve digital skills for teachers; prioritize training content related to practical work; review, invest in new, purchase additional computers to meet the requirements of teaching information technology; purchase equipment for building digital learning materials and online teaching; continue to effectively deploy the electronic library system; deploy solutions to ensure the safety of the digital education environment in schools.

In the 2024-2025 school year, schools will continue to provide personal digital signatures to 100% of staff, teachers, and employees; allocate resources to deploy digital transcripts in schools; strive for 100% of educational institutions to apply solutions for paying tuition fees and other fees using non-cash payment methods.

The Department of Education and Training also encourages units to deploy solutions to ensure safety and security in the educational environment with the goal of "Smart School Gate" through the form of access control by card, facial recognition, automatic attendance...
