At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, reported to the delegation of Power Generation Corporation 1 on the production and operation situation in the dry season of 2025. Accordingly, the Company's dry season output plan in 2025 is 4,165 million kWh, and so far the Company has produced 1,960 million kWh (equal to 47.06% of the dry season plan). Regarding the output plan from April to July 2025 of 2,896.48 million kWh, the Company strives to exceed the plan.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh said: To effectively carry out the task of producing electricity in the dry season according to the direction of Power Generation Corporation 1, the Company has proactively followed up with suppliers to ensure sufficient coal for electricity production during the peak months of the dry season, the amount of coal in stock is always equal to and higher than the prescribed level of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN).
The plant has completed the minor repairs of Unit 1 and Unit 2 from January 23 to February 11, 2025, according to the plant's repair schedule to be ready for the upcoming peak dry season. The company organized a commitment signing ceremony to compete to ensure technical and economic targets and power generation in the 2025 dry season, in which 100% of units signed a commitment to compete to operate safely, stably and effectively in providing electricity in 2025. The company has built a satisfactory reward mechanism for collectives and individuals who successfully complete the task of power production in the 2025 dry season. Each unit in the company has built a detailed and specific dry season power generation program, assigning responsibility to each person, clearly defining equipment, clearly defining work, clearly defining people, clearly defining responsibilities, for each work item, each material and equipment; assigning responsibility to the head and the person assigned to manage.
At the working program, representatives of the professional departments of Power Generation Corporation 1 discussed and listened to opinions of the Company's affiliated units on the program to increase the maximum capacity of the Plant's generators.
In his concluding remarks, EVNGENCO1 General Director Le Hai Dang acknowledged the efforts of Quang Ninh Thermal Power in ensuring power generation in the dry season of 2025 and requested the Company to continue to strengthen the inspection and evaluation of the entire equipment system, arising defects, reliability levels, and issues that generate risks that must be resolved, comply with the regime, operating parameters, equipment and human safety, and strictly maintain operating discipline and labor discipline.
