Strengthening management and price stabilization during the Lunar New Year

Phan Thiet City People's Committee has just issued a Plan to implement the reserve of essential goods to stabilize the market before, during and after the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin in 2024.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City assigned the Economic Department to proactively coordinate with Market Management Team No. 1, the City Police, relevant agencies and units and the People's Committees of wards and communes to strictly inspect and control compliance with regulations on selling prices of goods subject to price stabilization, ensuring adequate goods, quality and food safety. In particular, pay attention to livestock and poultry meat to serve the people at reasonable prices; at the same time, grasp the situation of the units' reserve of essential goods for price stabilization before, during and after the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin in 2024.

The stable selling prices of businesses participating in the program are stable, 5-10% lower than market prices.

Promptly advise the City People's Committee to report and propose to the Department of Industry and Trade response measures to stabilize the market when necessary. Mobilize businesses in the city to participate in market stabilization, especially gasoline and oil businesses to ensure supply to serve the production and consumption needs of people during the 2024 Lunar New Year. At the same time, continue to coordinate with Market Management Team No. 1 to monitor (when requested) the purchase and sale of gasoline and oil at gasoline retail stores in the area...
