Strengthen the responsibility of agencies in implementing as well as promoting the role of enterprises and organizations in responding to the Campaign to develop production and business, improve product quality, increase competitiveness, expand markets, meet consumer and export needs...
That is one of the objectives set out in the Plan for implementing activities of the Steering Committee for the Campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods” in the province in 2024 that has just been developed. Along with that, the plan also requires enhancing the responsibility of agencies in implementing, strengthening coordination in propaganda, mobilizing businesses, people and evaluating the results of the Campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods” in the province.
Accordingly, in terms of propaganda, localities focus on introducing quality Vietnamese branded products and services, or reputable business addresses so that consumers have full information about Vietnamese branded products and services on the market. In addition, domestic enterprises and production facilities are encouraged to prioritize the use of raw materials, fuels, materials and input factors that are each other's products, goods and services. For agencies and units using the state budget, priority is given to using domestic products, goods and services in accordance with international commitments and Vietnamese laws.
Implementing the 2024 Campaign, the locality continues to innovate propaganda forms so that businesses understand correctly, thereby enhancing the responsibility for implementing regional and international trade agreements that Vietnam participates in. At the same time, promote propaganda of businesses' responsibility in building and registering product brands, applying technology in production and business activities. Pay attention to encouraging investment in developing a Vietnamese goods distribution system, organizing seminars, exhibitions, trade promotion fairs and promoting the delivery of Vietnamese goods to consumers. Especially in rural, island and mountainous areas with key products, products in the OCOP program, specialty products, typical of Binh Thuan. On the other hand, it also encourages businesses in the province to focus on implementing commitments to protect consumer rights, building brands of Vietnamese products and goods...
This year, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" will take the lead in developing specific programs for implementation. Members of the Steering Committee are also assigned tasks according to their areas of responsibility, such as the Department of Industry and Trade actively promoting and launching movements to respond to the Campaign. Supporting businesses to consume products, consumers to have correct awareness of the quality of Vietnamese goods and services and guiding supermarkets, shopping centers, convenience stores, and distribution enterprises in the province to organize and launch promotional programs associated with the propaganda of the Campaign... Meanwhile, the Provincial Consumer Protection Association will coordinate to provide market information and quality of Vietnamese goods for people to choose, thereby encouraging consumers to use domestically produced goods...
