Also within the framework of the session, on March 26 and 27, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son, Co-Chairman of the Vietnam - Angola Intergovernmental Committee, paid courtesy visits to: Permanent Vice President of the National Assembly of America António Cuononoca; Minister of Planning Victor Hugo Guilherme, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Maria do Rosário Bragança; Minister of Health Silvia Lutucuta; visited and worked at Agostinho Neto University.
During meetings and working sessions with Angolan officials, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son informed about some of Vietnam's outstanding achievements after nearly 40 years of renovation, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Affirming that Vietnam and Angola have a traditional friendship, the Vietnamese Minister of Education and Training said that this relationship needs to continue to be consolidated and cooperation enhanced in many fields in the coming time, especially cooperation in the fields of economics, investment, agriculture, education, health, etc.
Regarding support proposals related to human resource training and expert supply, Minister Nguyen Kim Son suggested that Angolan authorities should soon calculate and make more specific requests to report to the Vietnamese Government leaders for consideration and decision. He also pledged to soon provide full information to the Vietnamese business community about potential investment opportunities in Angola.
As Co-Chair of the Vietnam-Angola Intergovernmental Committee, the Vietnamese Minister of Education and Training also hopes that the Intergovernmental Committee meeting taking place on March 28 will be an opportunity for the two sides to promote stronger cooperation in many fields in the coming time.
