Press release on the third working day and closing session of the 11th Central Conference, 13th tenure

Morning : The Central Committee works at the Hall. Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, on behalf of the Politburo, chaired the meeting.

General Secretary To Lam chaired the process of introducing additional plans for the 14th Party Central Committee. The Central Committee and delegates attending the Conference discussed preparations for the 14th Congress and the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; and listened to a thematic report on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation.

The Politburo met to receive and explain the opinions discussed by the Central Committee on April 11 and the morning of April 12, 2025, on preparations for the 14th National Congress and the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Afternoon : The Central Committee held its closing session at the Hall. Comrade Tran Thanh Man, Politburo member, Chairman of the National Assembly, chaired the meeting on behalf of the Politburo. Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission, presented the Politburo's Report on receiving and explaining the continued arrangement of the apparatus of the political system, arrangement of administrative units and organization of two-level local governments. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, presented the Politburo's Report on receiving and explaining the work of preparing for the 14th Congress and the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

The Central Committee discussed the above contents and passed Resolution of the 11th Central Conference.

General Secretary To Lam delivered concluding remarks and closed the Conference.
