Temporarily suspend the organization of congresses of grassroots party cells and committees for the 2025-2030 term

(BTNO) - This is the latest direction of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the organization of Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

Previously, on March 3, 2025, the Provincial Party Standing Committee issued an official dispatch on the dissemination and implementation of Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW dated February 28, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat; in which, it was agreed to "temporarily suspend the organization of Party congresses of districts, towns, cities; communes, wards, townships and other grassroots Party committees (cells) under the Party Committees of districts, towns, and cities until further instructions from competent authorities.

The remaining party organizations continue to hold congresses according to Plan No. 224-KH/TU dated July 15, 2024 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and Conclusion No. 225-KL/TW dated February 7, 2025 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee.

However, currently, the Central Organizing Committee is soliciting opinions on the draft documents: Regulations on the implementation of the Party Charter of the Central Executive Committee of the Party (replacing Regulation No. 232-QD/TW dated January 20, 2025); Directive of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party (replacing Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo); Project on rearranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and building a two-level local government organization model.

While waiting for instructions from the Central Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requests the Standing Committees of district, town, and city Party Committees and Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee to direct the temporary suspension of the organization of Party cell and grassroots Party Congresses for the 2025-2030 term until further instructions from competent authorities.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee assigned members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Provincial Party Organization Committee to pay attention to leading, directing, monitoring and urging the implementation of the Provincial Party Committee's directive documents on the organization of the congress; monitor, inspect and supervise the implementation and promptly report to the Standing Committee when problems arise.
