On January 7, two performances of the children's play "The Adventures of a Doll Boy" officially opened at the Youth Theater - Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House.
Mr. Huynh Anh Tuan - Director of Idecaf Drama Theater - said that this is a plan to meet the market share of children when their parents take them to see plays. The city's theater has too few stages for children, so right from the first two shows, Mr. Tuan saw a positive sign.

The children's play "The Adventures of a Doll Boy" (author: Mai Khac Thao, director: Vu Dinh Toan, production director: Huynh Anh Tuan) is part of the program "Fairy Tale No. 5".
The story has profound educational meaning so it quickly received response from young audiences, who interacted with the actors and immersed themselves in the adventures of the doll boy who wanted to explore the real world outside.
The show "Fairy Tales" is one of the shows that attracted a large audience, produced more than 10 years ago, and is considered the "twin brother" of the show "Once upon a time".

Producer Huynh Anh Tuan said that due to many difficulties and obstacles, the program "Fairy Tale" had to stop organizing performances for a long time.
Unexpectedly, the enthusiastic response of the young audience this time has been a great encouragement for the creative team, from which there will be more good plays to serve the young audience.
The play opens with Mr. and Mrs. Vui Ve (Quang Thao - Thanh Thuy - performance on the afternoon of January 7, artist Phi Nga took over because artist Thanh Thuy's family was in mourning - PV) introducing the doll house.
He was the inventor of all the toy dolls for children and always wished to have a child to pamper.

And one day, he and his wife decided to use their extraordinary talent to create a doll that looked as close to a human as possible for their son and named the boy Hanh Phuc (Dinh Toan).
The doll boy Happiness was intrigued by Grasshopper (Dai Nghia), who lured him out of the doll house to explore the green forest. But he himself did not know that the trip would take him to many dangerous places.
Children's audiences were delighted by the play "The Adventures of a Doll Boy" which was staged vividly and humorously.
The message of the play is also a valuable lesson from experience for the boy Hanh Phuc to understand that only sincere love can transform bad things.
In writing this script, author Quang Thao wanted to convey the meaning that parents should be their children's companions. They should explain the things that children wonder about to avoid deviation in thinking and affect the process of forming and developing personality.
The show "Fairy Tales" is also where young actors will get to know the audience to prepare for the show "Once Upon a Time 35" in the summer of 2024.
The children's play "The Adventures of a Doll Boy" is scheduled to be performed continuously at the Youth Theater - Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House from 9:30 a.m. every weekend.
