Quadrup, a 4-legged robot dog using AI technology, is capable of recognizing gestures and actions such as sitting down and shaking hands, created by students of the Faculty of Information Technology.
Witnessing the rapid development of science and technology as well as facing a series of open career opportunities from the economic integration process, many industries have become the choices that young people aim for.
Developed from a technology platform with over 32 years of experience
Potential and open career opportunities are what many people believe for the information technology industry in general and artificial intelligence in particular when witnessing the rapid development of the AI field in the digital age.
Artificial intelligence is a field of computer science that studies and creates machine systems that simulate human intelligence, programmed to imitate human thinking and actions.
The Artificial Intelligence (AI) program is the result of persistent research and continuous development by a team of experts and lecturers based on two core platforms: information technology and foreign languages.
Students will be trained in basic knowledge of information technology such as computational thinking, algorithms and programming before approaching specialized knowledge directly related to AI such as machine learning, data mining, information processing, decision support systems...
Currently, the school has also put into use 16 AI chatbots that the school has developed in depth in many different fields, from language, economics, technology, education to health and psychology. Students just need to choose the chatbot according to the topic to be answered and type the question.
In addition to Q&A and information lookup, many AI chatbots also help students optimize their learning efficiency, such as voice-to-text chatbots, text-to-speech chatbots, image design chatbots, etc. These tools have brought many benefits to lecturers and students in using AI to support teaching and learning at school.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Vice Principal of HUFLIT, shared with students about the project of 16 AI chatbots being used to support learning and teaching.
The AI field with great development potential is considered one of the key technology industries in Vietnam. Artificial intelligence application products are used in almost all areas of life and society. It can be said that the Artificial Intelligence (AI) industry is opening up a world of new and attractive career opportunities for young people today.
Choosing foreign languages as a strategic tool in the integration period
Along with the rapid development of AI, globalization has opened up many development opportunities for countries, especially developing countries like Vietnam. In addition to economic integration, globalization also has a significant impact on cultural exchange, academic exchange, and technology transfer between countries.
During that process, foreign languages have become a powerful "visa" for workers in the region. Especially for the labor market that requires the use of Japanese, since the milestone of becoming a comprehensive strategic partner on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam - Japan diplomatic relations, job opportunities and development potential for workers fluent in Japanese have become increasingly open.
HUFLIT Japanese Language Department attracts the attention of many candidates
With the Japanese Language major - a school with more than 32 years of experience in training majors related to Japanese language and culture, students will be fully equipped with knowledge and skills to conquer one of the most popular languages in the current high-quality labor market.
Mastering the Japanese language will be the key to help young people more easily grasp job opportunities in many fields right after graduation such as working at cultural, educational, tourism, diplomatic, translation agencies...; working at joint ventures with foreign countries; working at representative agencies, trade offices, economic organizations, press agencies...; interpreting, translating; teaching; teaching Japanese or participating in research on the Japanese language at agencies and schools with corresponding majors...
The practical training program of Japanese Language at HUFLIT helps learners equip themselves with both professional knowledge and necessary skills, meeting the needs of the high-quality labor market.
Opportunity to receive tuition support with 0% interest
To help students minimize difficulties in their university journey, HUFLIT has just launched a "Student Support Fund" with a total value of 13 billion VND per year. Students with difficult circumstances will be considered to "borrow money" from this fund without having to pay interest to cover tuition fees. In particular, new students will also be considered for support in parallel with other scholarships of the University.
Currently, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology accepts applications for 20 training majors, including 2 new majors: Artificial Intelligence and Japanese Language.
Two admission methods include:
– Consider the results of high school transcripts, semester 2, grade 11 and semester 1, grade 12;
– Consider 12th grade high school transcript results.
