Su30-MK2, helicopter practicing for international defense exhibition

In recent days, in preparation for the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024, 7 Su30-MK2 aircraft and 7 Mi helicopters flew in the sky over Gia Lam district and Long Bien district (Hanoi), practicing for the opening ceremony.

In addition to flight demonstrations, the Air Defense - Air Force will display fighter jets, helicopters, air-to-air missiles, air defense, man-portable air defense, artillery systems, and air defense missiles at the exhibition.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Vietnam Air Force will fly in to welcome the exhibition; commandos and military dogs of the Vietnam Border Guard will perform to welcome the exhibition. At this exhibition, people can visit from 1:00 p.m. on December 21 to the end of December 22.

SU-30MK2 is a heavy multi-role fighter produced by Russia's SUKHOI Corporation, upgraded from the SU-27 fighter, designated by NATO as "Flanker-C".

Domestic and international defense enterprises display and introduce combat vehicles, technological solutions, weapons, and equipment for the Navy, Army, Air Defense - Air Force, cyber warfare, and logistics and technical equipment.

It is known that in 2022, the first Vietnam International Defense Exhibition received the attention, support and participation of many management agencies, international and domestic delegates, with an indoor and outdoor display area of about 25,000m2; 175 participating companies from 31 countries; 6 national pavilions; 25,000 professional visitors; 300 domestic delegations; 52 international delegations.
