(To Quoc) - On the evening of March 5, in Hanoi, the 19th Dedication Awards ceremony in 2025 organized by Sports & Culture Newspaper, with two award systems: Dedication Music Awards and Dedication Sports Awards, took place attractively, honoring deserving faces.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong and General Director of Vietnam News Agency Vu Viet Trang attended the Award ceremony.
Marking 20 years of accompanying the development of Vietnamese popular music and expanding to the field of sports from 2023, this time the Dedication Award specially awarded a Commemorative Medal to recognize individuals and groups that have contributed to the award.
The Organizing Committee awarded Commemorative Medals to those who contributed to the 20-year Dedication Award.
They are musician Duong Thu - who has been associated with the award since the first seasons; singer My Tam - who has many valuable works, receiving 6 Dedication awards; singer Tung Duong - the artist who owns the most Dedication cups; journalist Huu Trinh - who has been associated with the award for many years.

This year, the Inspirational Artist Award was also presented to Professor, Doctor, artist Chu Bao Que - who has spent many years silently and persistently preserving the artistic quintessence of his ancestors and passing it on to the next generation.

Regarding the Devotion Music Awards, singer SOOBIN excellently scored a hat trick when he won in 3 categories: Singer of the Year, Album of the Year with “Turn it on”, Music video of the year with “If only” (composed and performed by SOOBIN, directed by Lam Dao Dao).

The Program of the Year category was awarded to “SKYNote” by singer Quoc Thien. The Program Series of the Year category honored the live concert “Anh trai vu ngan cong gai”.

The Producer of the Year award went to Slim V for the program “Anh trai vu ngan cong gai”. The “Musician of the Year” category honored Phan Manh Quynh. The New Artist of the Year category went to Duong Domic. The Impressive Dedication Award 2025 was given to the Organizing Committee of the program “Tre concert”.

Winners of the Devotion Music Awards will have the opportunity to attend and receive the International Special Awards at the Japan Music Awards in May 2025, organized by the Culture & Entertainment Industry Promotion Association (CEIPA) of Japan. The selection of artists to nominate for this award will be considered by the Organizing Committee of the two awards in the coming time.
Regarding the Dedication Sports Awards, this year continues to honor 4 categories including Sports Achievement of the Year, Sports Face of the Year, Young Sports Face of the Year and Dedication Aspiration.
Coach Kim Sang-sik represented the Vietnamese football team to receive the Sports Achievement of the Year award.
The Vietnamese men's football team's outstanding achievement of winning the 2024 ASEAN Cup with 7 unbeaten matches and winning the regional tournament for the third time deserved the Sports Achievement of the Year award.
Sportsman of the Year goes to Nguyen Xuan Son. He is a special striker for the Vietnamese men's football team and has made a special contribution to the team's journey to the 2024 ASEAN Cup championship. Nguyen Xuan Son personally won the top scorer title with 7 goals and was the best player in this tournament.

The Young Sports Face of the Year award is awarded to canoeing athlete Nguyen Thi Huong with outstanding achievements: Winning a ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics; Gold medal at the Asian Championship; 1 Gold medal at the Asian U23 Championship; 3 Gold medals at the Southeast Asian Championship...
The Aspiration for Dedication Award belongs to Dong Luc Joint Stock Company for its outstanding contributions in socializing sports and spreading positive values in the community, contributing to encouraging the development of sports movements nationwide.

Mr. Le Xuan Thanh, Editor-in-Chief of Sports and Culture Newspaper, shared: "The Dedication Award hopes to 'go to Asia' through strategic cooperation with the Japan Music Awards - a prestigious award of continental scope. And through this cooperation, starting this year, through the Dedication Bridge, Vietnamese artists will have the opportunity to be honored in the continental "arena", so that Vietnamese popular music can continue to integrate more deeply with the biggest music trends in Asia".
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Dedication Award, a Dedication Cup - a special edition plated in traditional gold was auctioned. The 700 million VND raised from the auction of this cup will be contributed to the charity program "For the school for children" to build and repair classrooms for children in remote areas./.
