With the spirit of "spreading patriotism" and imparting neat and tidy living skills, on March 16 in Vung Tau city (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province), under the guidance of young soldiers from the 261st Missile Regiment of the Air Defense - Air Force, 672 students of Nguyen Binh Khiem Primary School experienced "a day as a soldier".
Soldiers guide students to fold blankets
This is an annual program organized by the school's teachers in collaboration with officers and soldiers of Regiment 261 for students from grades 1 to 5 with the aim of inspiring them about the image, cultural beauty, and simple lifestyle of the army, as well as inspiring them with life skills, experiences, and creativity, as a foundation and provision for them to study better.

The "a day as a soldier" program of the students was very impressive with many "skillful performances" of the soldiers, especially the "dance performance" and "training march". The most impressive thing was when the music started, the young soldier - Corporal Nguyen Thanh Tu "wriggled his body" with the "young soldier dance" performance, making hundreds of students follow along with the endless cheers.
The "practice march" part was also enthusiastically participated by the students. They practiced carrying and carrying things on long marches, folding blankets and mosquito nets, and being agile every morning when they woke up.

Young soldier Nguyen Anh Tu shared: "I was sent by the unit to many schools to inspire students in the "soldier dance" performance and teach them how to fold blankets. Through that, they will gradually form a sense of cultural behavior, boldness, and team spirit when participating in collective programs. This is also an opportunity to strengthen the solidarity relationship between the army and the people like fish and water".
Corporal Nguyen Anh Tu performed the "young soldier dance" and impressed nearly 700 students and teachers.
The school principal - Mr. Tran Quan said that this is a very meaningful program, aiming to create a playground for students and teachers after each annual exam. Through the program "a day as a soldier", students experience life in a military environment, teaching them independent living skills, knowing how to love and respect teachers and friends.
Students experience "dancing with the soldiers"
Besides, the children know how to improve their health, strive to excel in their studies, obey their parents and teachers, and especially love their country and people through the program "a day as a soldier".
