Hai Duong Department of Industry and Trade conducts drills to ensure combat operations in the province's defense area

Colonel Vu Hong Anh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Defense Area Exercise Steering Committee, spoke at the exercise.

On November 5, the Department of Industry and Trade organized a drill to ensure combat operations in the provincial defense area in 2024 with the theme of transferring the activities of the industry and trade sector to a state of national defense emergency; organizing and practicing a defensive combat course consisting of 3 phases, 4 training topics, and 6 drill contents.

The Department of Industry and Trade's exercise was assessed as successful.

The exercise aims to foster the leadership, direction, organizational and operational capacity and advisory role of specialized departments and units under the Department of Industry and Trade in organizing defense operations; promote the potential of enterprises when entering defense states to ensure leadership, direction and service to people's lives. Assess the ability to mobilize forces, means, materials and goods to ensure defense and people's lives of the industry and trade sector, and at the same time supplement the plan to ensure industry and trade in defense operations in line with the actual situation of the locality.

At the end of the exercise, the Provincial Defense Area Exercise Steering Committee assessed that the exercise of the Hai Duong Department of Industry and Trade was successful and safe.
