In response to a student's complaint that he was beaten by a security guard right at the dormitory gate, the Dormitory Management Center of Ho Chi Minh City National University has made an official announcement.
The Dormitory Management Center (DMC) of Ho Chi Minh City National University has announced the incident of a security guard acting inappropriately on the evening of January 7 outside the main gate of the dormitory. According to this announcement, on the evening of January 8, the Dormitory Management Center received a report that a security guard on duty at the main gate (entrance) of area B on the evening of January 7 had threatened to beat a young man with a stick and used inappropriate words towards him while parking his motorbike in front of the gate of the dormitory area B.

The center has worked with the leader of the security service provider for the center and the staff on duty at the main gate (entrance) of area B and extracted the security camera to review the entire incident. The security guard and the security service provider both admitted that the incident as reported occurred. According to the security guard's report, the cause was that the young man parked his motorbike in front of the gate (not a resident student at the dormitory), the security guard reminded him but he did not comply immediately and there were words exchanged, so the security guard could not control himself and acted as above.
