Representative of the Organizing Committee of the ACP World Championship 2024 in Vietnam, Deputy General Director of IIG Vietnam, Ms. Doan Nguyen Van Khanh, said: In 2024, the number of teams participating in the competition has nearly doubled compared to the previous season, including teams from universities, academies, colleges, secondary schools, and high schools across the country.

At the end of the qualifying round, 186 candidates, accounting for nearly 77% of the total number of candidates, achieved 700 points or more - the qualifying score for the international ACP certificate. Among them, there were many young students who were just entering secondary school. At the national round, the 15 best candidates of the qualifying round competed to design a set of publications on the theme 'Youth Volunteers for the Community' using Adobe software.

At the closing and award ceremony held on June 2, the Organizing Committee announced the three champions of this year's competition: PTIT student Le Trang Anh won first prize in Group A (for university and college students); student Nguyen Dinh Kien Dat from Hanoi Industrial Vocational College led Group B (for colleges and centers); and the leading position in Group C for high school students belonged to female student Mai Ngoc Linh from Chu Van An High School, Hanoi.

The three best contestants of the ACP World Championship 2024 in Vietnam are also the three students who have won the right to compete in the world finals taking place in the US at the end of July 2024.

In addition to the 3 national First Prizes, the Organizing Committee also awarded 3 Second Prize winners, 3 Third Prize winners, 6 Encouragement Prize winners, and outstanding teachers and school staff in this year's competition.

With Le Trang Anh's excellent achievement of winning the first prize in Group A of the competition, PTIT has become the unit with students winning high prizes three times in graphic design skills competitions. Sharing with VietNamNet reporter, PTIT student Le Trang Anh said: "This is my first and highest achievement in pursuing my passion for graphic design. The award is a great motivation for me to continue conquering this field. The experience at the competition is a memory that I will never forget. During the competition, there were times when I shed tears and wanted to stop, but the support and encouragement of teachers and friends helped me to be determined and try my best to compete."

Previously, in 2018 and 2019, PTIT had students win the national first prize, qualifying for the world finals of the ACP World Championship held in the US. Notably, in 2018, the first year the competition was held in Vietnam, PTIT student Nguyen Tran Thao Nguyen won the world bronze medal. This is also the highest achievement of the Vietnamese ACP teams at this international playground, up to now.

Organized annually by Certiport Corporation (USA) since 2013, ACP World Championship aims to find and honor design experts who are proficient in Adobe software including Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. 2024 is the 7th year the competition is held in Vietnam.
