Recently, at the Hall of the Naval Region 2 Command, the closing ceremony of the "SATRA for the homeland's seas and islands" program in 2022-2023 and the launching ceremony of the 2023-2024 program took place in a warm and exciting atmosphere.
Attending the program were Ms. Truong My Hoa, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Vice President, Head of the Club "For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa"; Rear Admiral Nguyen Anh Tuan, Commander of Naval Region 2; Colonel Vu Anh Tuan, Political Commissar of the Command, along with comrades who are heads of departments/offices of Brigades 167, 125, 171, 681, Fisheries Control Squadron No. 2, Training Center... and 150 officers and soldiers of Naval Region 2 Command; Ms. Duong Thi Huyen Tram, Standing Member - Head of the Movement Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia, Secretary of the Party Committee - Chairman of the Board of Members of SATRA, comrades who are members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Board of Members, the Board of Directors and 200 key officials of the Corporation and its facilities; and invited guests who are business owners, traders and partners of SATRA.
Delegates came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap and heroic martyrs at the Cultural Campus of Navy Region 2.
With the motto of continuously innovating operating methods, spreading the effects of the program "SATRA for the homeland's sea and islands" more and more widely to many regions and localities, thereby continuing to improve the effectiveness of propaganda work among cadres, party members, employees, partners, customers... of SATRA, the Command of Naval Region 2 in conjunction with the Propaganda Department of SATRA Party Committee has organized many propaganda sessions on the current situation of the East Sea; the Party and State's viewpoints and policies on protecting sovereignty over seas and islands and resolving disputes at sea for more than 1,700 employees.
In 2022 - 2023, SATRA's production member units such as VISSAN Joint Stock Company, APT Joint Stock Company, COFIDEC Company... continued to effectively organize the program "Working hours for beloved Truong Sa", thereby affirming that this is one of the activities for employees to demonstrate their responsibility and join hands to support the Fund "SATRA for the homeland's sea and islands". These units have donated funds equivalent to the number of products and profits made to the officers, soldiers and fishermen who are performing the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and island borders of the Fatherland.
"Working hour for beloved Truong Sa" took place at Coastal Economic Joint Stock Company (Cofidec).
At the same time, SATRA also expressed the sentiments and responsibilities of SATRA employees in participating in protecting the sovereignty of the sacred borders, seas and islands of the Fatherland through giving gifts to officers, soldiers and people on the islands during trips to Truong Sa, DK1 Platform, islands in Naval Region 5 organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; visiting and giving gifts to Navy soldiers and law enforcement forces at sea and supporting fishermen to stay at sea to protect their homeland in the Central and Southern provinces; contributing funds to build the Cultural Campus in Naval Region 2... The total cost is more than 1.8 billion VND.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Truong My Hoa, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee and former Vice President welcomed and thanked the program "SATRA for the homeland's sea and islands" for having long been associated with and accompanied the Club "For Hoang Sa - Truong Sa Beloved" in contributing funds to take care of children of ethnic minorities, children of the Navy and fishermen in difficult circumstances, achieving excellent academic achievements.
Also at the ceremony, Colonel Vu Anh Tuan, Political Commissar of Naval Region 2, highly appreciated the results of the coordination between the Party Committee of Naval Region 2 Command and the SATRA Party Committee in the information and propaganda work on borders and islands; at the same time, thanked the attention and affection of the SATRA collective in the past time for having many practical activities in connecting, exchanging, sharing, contributing funds to improve the material and spiritual life of officers and soldiers and being a great source of encouragement for the Navy soldiers.

Launching the "SATRA for the Homeland's Sea and Islands" Program in 2023-2024, Party Secretary - Chairman of the Board of Members of SATRA Nguyen Huu Nghia respectfully acknowledged and expressed his wish to continue receiving material and spiritual support from Party committees at all levels, Executive Boards of member enterprises, business owners, traders, partners and SATRA employees. These gestures have helped the Program Organizing Committee to continue organizing many activities to care for fishermen and forces protecting the sovereignty of the Fatherland. Continue to coordinate between the Naval Region 2 Command, SATRA Party Committee and the Center for National Defense and Security Education, Ho Chi Minh City National University to organize propaganda activities for SATRA employees about current events; the viewpoints and policies of our Party and State in protecting the sovereignty of seas and islands and resolving disputes at sea.
After the call of comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, 8 traders of Binh Dien Agricultural and Aquatic Products Wholesale Market responded and contributed 180 million VND; Agribank Branch 4 contributed 50,000,000 VND.
