From 01 - 31/10/2024, At the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, there will be daily and weekend activities to introduce the culture and customs of the ethnic groups, along with experiential activities at the "Common House" of the community of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups, contributing to enhancing exchanges between ethnic groups and attracting tourists to the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.
Special activities in October at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism with the theme of Sea and Islands in the hearts of compatriots
Tourists can participate in rituals, festivals, and customs of ethnic groups, thereby better understanding the cultural features, traditional activities, and characteristics, contributing to preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of ethnic groups; exchanging between ethnic groups, uniting, bonding, and developing together; contributing to arousing patriotism, preserving the cultural values of ancestors, helping to consolidate the community, and educating generations of descendants about the love for the homeland's sea and islands.
October program "Sea and islands in the hearts of the people" with highlight activities such as: Reenacting the Hoang Sa soldiers' feasting ceremony of Ly Son island district, Quang Ngai province; Performance and introduction of the representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity "The art of Bai Choi in Central Vietnam"; Exhibition and introduction of Quang Ngai culture and tourism; images of the Hoang Sa heroic army in charge of Bac Hai, the Hoang Sa soldiers' feasting ceremony; Exchange and experience of the quintessence of traditional Ly Son cuisine and local products of Quang Ngai province.
The Hoang Sa soldiers' memorial ceremony of Ly Son island district, Quang Ngai province will be reenacted at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.
Besides, there are weekend activities such as the folk song and dance program "October Flowers" of the people which is taking place every day. Celebrating the 94th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20 ; The folk song and dance program "Village and Festival" of the ethnic groups in the Central Highlands is operating daily in the Village; activities of artisan groups are operating daily in the Village .
Daily activities continue to recreate cultural life, daily activities, decorate the house space according to traditional customs of the nation and introduce folk games, folk songs, folk dances, folk music, traditional crafts, ethnic cuisine, recreate traditional rituals and festivals suitable for each ethnic group according to the characteristics of ethnic culture; introduce cultural space, cultural characteristics of the nation to the people and tourists associated with each cultural space of the ethnic group that is active daily in the Village.
On this occasion, at the Khmer pagoda, Buddhist activities also took place such as the Sen Dolta Ceremony at the Khmer pagoda; the Kathina robe offering ceremony, imbued with the cultural and religious identity of the Khmer people.
Traditional cultural experience activities bring visitors to experience some games such as: playing "tich", playing "tuc", playing "ho an quan", playing "tac" (checkers), playing bamboo puppets... in indoor spaces; walking on stilts, dancing on bamboo poles, playing swings, seesaws... in outdoor spaces. Besides, there are daily and weekend activities of 16 ethnic communities, experiential tourism programs, introducing cake making and wrapping for tourists, folk games; praying for peace and blessing activities at spiritual spaces of Khmer pagodas, Cham towers... to introduce the culture, customs and practices of the people, along with experiential activities at the "Common House" of the community of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups./.
