On March 17, the Customs Department (Ministry of Finance) announced its apparatus, introduced the leadership and Customs Branch of Region XII.
Accordingly, Regional Customs Branch XII is the new name after merging three local customs departments including: Da Nang Customs Department, Quang Nam Customs Department, Quang Ngai Customs Department.
Customs at border gates, in addition to the border gates directly under the Customs Branch of Region XII, there are 8 units .
Three units located in Da Nang include: Da Nang International Airport Customs , Danang Port Customs , Danang Industrial Park Customs.
Three units located in Quang Nam include: Nam Giang International Border Gate Customs, Quang Nam Industrial Park Customs, and Ky Ha Port Border Gate Customs.
In Quang Ngai, there are two units: Dung Quat Port Customs and Quang Ngai Industrial Park Customs.
The Customs Department of Region XII also introduced a new leadership team. Mr. Duong Xuan Sinh - former Director of the Quang Nam Customs Department - was appointed as Director of the Customs Department of Region XII.
Six people who used to be deputy directors of customs in provinces and cities have now been transferred and appointed to hold the position of deputy directors of Customs Branch Region XII.
They are Mr. Tran Van Anh, Mr. Pham Duy Nhat, and Ms. Dang Thi Le Hoa - all former deputy directors of the Da Nang Customs Department.
Mr. Nguyen Van Duong and Mr. Tran Ngoc Duc - both former deputy directors of Quang Nam Customs Department.
Mr. Huynh Van Cuong - former Deputy Director of Quang Ngai Provincial Customs Department.
The headquarters of the Customs Branch of Region XII is located in Da Nang City, including 7 units: office, personnel organization department, information technology department, risk management department, customs operations department, customs control team, review team and post-clearance inspection team.
