Morning of March 25: Central exchange rate increased for the second consecutive session

According to a survey by thoibaonganhang.vn, as of 9am this morning (March 25), the central exchange rate increased by 15 VND compared to the previous session. The USD buying and selling prices at all commercial banks were adjusted to increase with a common amplitude of 30-40 VND compared to the previous session.

The State Bank this morning listed the central exchange rate at 24,847 VND, up 16 VND compared to the previous session.

This morning, the State Bank of Vietnam listed the USD buying price at 23,655 VND/USD, up 15 VND; while the USD selling price was listed at 26,039 VND/USD, up 17 VND compared to the previous session.

Meanwhile, USD buying and selling prices at all commercial banks were adjusted up with a common amplitude of 30-40 VND compared to the previous session.

Specifically, as of 9:00 a.m. this morning, the lowest USD buying price is at 25,430 VND/USD (40 VND higher), the highest buying price is at 25,473 VND/USD (33 VND higher). On the selling side, the lowest USD selling price is at 25,820 VND/USD (40 VND higher), the highest selling price is at 25,850 VND/USD (35 VND higher).

The US dollar index (DXY), which measures the greenback's performance against a basket of six major currencies (EUR, JPY, GBP, CAD, SEK, CHF), is currently trading at 104.314, down 0.006 points from the opening.
