Hue and FPT discuss comprehensive cooperation opportunities

Accordingly, the two sides affirmed their close cooperation in many important projects, contributing to outstanding achievements in technology application and local socio-economic development.

Recognizing the potential and development needs of Hue City, in recent times, FPT has conducted practical research on the socio-economic situation, as well as the challenges and opportunities that the locality is facing.

On this basis, FPT proposes a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap, including key areas such as: building a digital government by applying technology to public administration management, enhancing transparency, efficiency and better serving the people.

FPT is committed to accompanying government leaders in applying technology to direct immediately with data; developing the digital economy by supporting local businesses in applying technology, e-commerce, and big data to improve competitiveness.

At the same time, it will accompany Hue to build high-quality digital human resources; build smart cities based on the application of artificial intelligence, IoT in traffic, environment, and tourism management to create a modern and sustainable Hue city.

Mr. Le Truong Luu, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hue City People's Council emphasized the development goals of Hue and expressed his hope that FPT would continue to accompany in the fields of science, technology, and education, especially with its experience and models that have been successfully deployed in a number of other provinces and cities, and would provide appropriate advice and proposals to support Hue in achieving strategic goals according to Resolution 57-NQ/TW.

FPT and Hue enter the era of national growth

From the above goals, FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh introduced the 6S methodology, a strategic model to ensure effective implementation and deployment, including steps such as: strategic compass, multi-dimensional consultation, successful roadmap design, rapid deployment, evaluation and validation, reporting and improvement.

He stressed that to achieve “double-digit growth”, AI is the key factor and the approach is “AI for the People” – not only the government but also the people need to understand and apply this technology.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, General Director of FPT Corporation, proposed the "Hue+" model, in which Hue can take advantage of institutional reforms to improve its competitiveness. FPT also shared its flexible approach to strategic planning with a three-year cycle but always adjusted annually to keep up with trends. FPT is ready to accompany Hue in building a separate strategy, close to local characteristics.

At the meeting, FPT and the People's Committee of Hue City agreed that digital transformation is not only a trend but also a core factor for sustainable development. In that spirit, the two sides committed to closely cooperate to implement Resolution 57 TW/CP of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution 18 TW on streamlining the apparatus, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the political system, to join Hue in entering the era of national development.

The working session marked an important milestone in the cooperation relationship between FPT and Hue City, opening up new opportunities to make Hue a typical model of digital transformation in Vietnam.
