Previously, on August 18, many hot universities announced their admission scores. The highest majors of Hanoi National University of Education were History Education and Literature Education with 29.30 points. The lowest was Biology with 22 points.
Similarly, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture, Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture also announced their admission scores this morning.
The benchmark scores of Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment for all majors are very low, mainly 15-16. The major with the highest benchmark score of 18 is Business Administration. Majors with a benchmark score of 17.5 include: Information Technology, Land Management. The remaining majors have benchmark scores of 15-16.
Meanwhile, the benchmark scores for many majors at Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture are very high, the highest being 27.85. Compared to 2023, the benchmark scores for many majors at the school have increased "shockingly", specifically, the Library Information major increased by 8 points; the Museum Studies major increased by 8.5 points. The remaining majors increased by 2-5 points.
On the evening of August 18, schools such as Hanoi Medical University, Ho Chi Minh City Pedagogical University, Forestry University... also announced the standard scores to enter the school.
On the afternoon of August 17, a series of universities across the country announced their 2024 admission scores. Hoa Sen University, Hong Bang International University, and Gia Dinh University were the first to announce.
Following that, in the North, the Banking Academy and Hai Duong Medical University also announced their admission scores. Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced their admission scores on the afternoon of August 17. The admission scores for the majors of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, and Control Engineering - Automation in 2024 are all above 28 points.

Previously, from August 13, the Ministry of Education and Training began the virtual filtering process, lasting until August 17 with 6 times in 5 days. In parallel, two virtual filtering groups, the North led by Hanoi University of Science and Technology and the South led by Ho Chi Minh City National University, also conducted virtual filtering.
At 4:00 p.m. on August 17, the Ministry of Education and Training will return the final virtual screening results to universities. Based on these results, the universities will determine and announce the official admission scores, starting at 5:00 p.m. on August 17 and completing no later than August 19.
According to regulations, before 5:00 p.m. on August 17, schools will enter the admission scores and admission results into the system, review and prepare to announce the first round of admission results according to the general schedule. The Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that schools announce the first round of admission results before 5:00 p.m. on August 19.
By 5:00 p.m. on August 19 at the latest, universities and colleges must complete the announcement of benchmark scores and first round of admission results.
Candidates need to pay attention to receive admission results and enroll in the system within the prescribed time.

Statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training show that in 2024, more than 733,000 candidates registered for admission, equivalent to 68.5% of the total number of candidates registering for the high school graduation exam. In 2023, more than 660,000 candidates registered for admission on the system, equivalent to 65.9% of the total number of candidates registering for the high school graduation exam. The number of candidates registering for university admission this year increased by 73,000 compared to last year.
