In the overall growth, the processing industry created the largest added value for the industrial sector, with an estimated production value of VND8,092.6 billion, up 11.2% over the same period. During the year, some products (sugar, tapioca starch, jelly, dolls, bird's nest drinks, cotton towels, ready-made clothes) had high output compared to the same period due to increased market demand and abundant raw materials.
The above results have the contribution of the Department of Industry and Trade in organizing work with 12 mining, processing and exporting industrial enterprises to grasp the difficulties and obstacles of enterprises, thereby proposing solutions to remove them, increase output and find markets. Notably, the Department of Industry and Trade has coordinated with Saigon Ninh Thuan Beer Company Limited to organize a program to introduce Saigon beer products produced in Ninh Thuan and visit the production line at the factory. These positive moves have helped the company increase beer output to 50-70 million liters/year. Along with that, the Department has reviewed and grasped the difficulties and obstacles of deeply reduced products to advise the Provincial People's Committee to propose solutions to remove them, while urging and monitoring investment projects to speed up the completion progress to create new capacity and new values.

Electricity production and distribution also grew strongly, estimated at VND 6,602.8 billion, up 14.8% over the same period. This result was achieved thanks to the Provincial People's Committee directing functional branches and localities to remove difficulties and obstacles for renewable energy projects. Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Industry and Trade organized a review, reported on the current status, problems, obstacles and development orientation of the energy sector, advising the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to update and supplement energy projects, power lines, and transmission infrastructure into the plan to implement the VIII Power Plan to have a basis for calling for investment, implementing investment and putting into commercial operation a number of new projects. Along with that, the Department has registered to work with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam Electricity Group to resolve a number of problems in the Phuoc Thai 2,3 Solar Power Project; and accept and put the project into use for the Trung Nam - Thuan Bac Solar Power Plant.
In 2025, the Industry and Trade sector strives for an industrial production value of VND 18,680.3 billion, an increase of about 16-17% over the same period in 2024. To achieve the goal, in the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade will focus on supporting the acceleration of the implementation of renewable energy projects approved in the Power Plan VIII; driving projects: Bac Ai pumped storage hydropower, Phuoc Hoa pumped storage hydropower, Ca Na LNG power. Coordinate the implementation of regulations on price frameworks and bidding mechanisms for renewable energy projects; recommend central ministries and branches to prioritize capital plans to invest in the construction of 500kV and 220kV power transmission infrastructure to relieve power capacity in the province.
With a high sense of responsibility, the Department of Industry and Trade focuses on advising on industrial development solutions; urging the completion of technical infrastructure of industrial clusters to attract investment in secondary projects to increase occupancy rates; promptly supporting contractors to remove difficulties, speeding up the completion of industrial processing and manufacturing projects in 2025 to create new capacity and new products. The organization grasps the production and business situation, market fluctuations, and influencing factors to promptly propose solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles, creating conditions for businesses to develop, contributing to promoting growth.
