Industrial production grew more than 15%

Specifically, the industrial production index increased by 15.2% over the same period in 2024. Of which, the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 12.43%, with 10/15 industries growing; the electricity and gas production and distribution industry increased by 19.45%, of which the electricity output reached more than 1.5 billion kWh, up 27.51%; the water supply, waste and wastewater management and treatment industry increased by 6.3%, of which the clean water output was more than 11 million ^m3 , up 5.84%, and waste collection and treatment services reached 22.3 billion VND, up nearly 7% over the same period in 2024.

Despite the growth in production, the industrial consumption index decreased by 14.8% compared to the same period last year, causing the product inventory index to increase by 25.73%.
