The opening ceremony of the 2nd Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival in 2023 with the theme "Heritage Colors - Convergence and Spread" is just over a week away. Currently, the preparation of the live stage for the opening ceremony has been basically completed, ready for the opening ceremony as planned on the evening of December 26.
Following the success of the first Ninh Binh Festival in 2022, Ninh Binh province organizes the second Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival with the theme "Heritage Colors - Convergence and Spread". The festival will be held from December 26, 2023 to December 31, 2023 in Ninh Binh city and Hoa Lu district.
The 2nd Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival in 2023 is expected to include 4 unique key activities, demonstrating the connection, convergence, and dissemination of the cultural heritage of Ninh Binh province in particular and the regions and areas in the country in general. To implement the program as planned, every day, hundreds of engineers and workers have worked beyond capacity to urgently complete the live stage on the Trang An river - a special highlight held for the first time in Ninh Binh province.
Mr. Pham Duc Thuan, in charge of the Stage Construction Team of the 2nd Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival, said: With the stage construction progress being quite urgent within 15 days, the Construction Team of more than 40 people tried their best to work day and night to achieve the planned progress.
In the construction of underwater stages, we have to handle difficult tasks according to the design items on the 3D drawings, construct the underwater pile driving part and the above-water pile driving part using scaffolding using tube materials to ensure the structure of the project. We focus on pile driving because the terrain here is a deep muddy area, so we drive 6m, 8m piles into the mud and braces to ensure no shaking, lock the scaffolding on the surface of the stages, ensuring the load-bearing capacity of 300-400 people on the stage.
The highlight that makes the difference of the 2nd Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival in 2023 is the opening program, which was elaborately staged as the first live performance held in the magical space of the world cultural and natural heritage of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex.
Elements of rivers, mountains, music, light, projection mapping technology, contemporary dance art, water-skimming performances, calligraphy through dance art... will blend together to create a beautiful ink painting telling the story of the history and culture of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu - Ninh Binh and the quintessence of cultural colors of regions along the length of the country.
Mr. Le Anh Xuan, Production Supervisor of Thang Long Media and Tourism Joint Stock Company - the unit implementing the event of Ninh Binh - Trang An Festival II said: The stage of Ninh Binh - Trang An Festival II is a real-life stage, the entire scenery is natural. The underwater stage has a floor area of over 4,000m2. The company has chosen the construction units for the stage who are experienced in making underwater stages to ensure that the project is both safe and meets aesthetic requirements.
In addition, to depict the image and characteristics of the 1,050-year-old historical picture of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, the Company used all natural materials to decorate the stage, such as using natural trees and grass as scenery, decorating the stage surface with the colors of the Trang An eco-tourism area's rocky mountains, using lighting and projection technology using a mapping projector on the rocky mountains of the Trang An eco-tourism area. It is expected that the Company will complete the entire stage before December 22.
The 2nd Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival is a national cultural-tourism event, also a unique festival brand of Ninh Binh province, promoting cultural exchange activities and honoring cultural heritages associated with tourism development. Through the organization of the 2nd Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival in 2023, Ninh Binh province hopes to introduce to the people and tourists the image of a safe, attractive, and friendly destination of the land and people of the ancient capital of a thousand years of civilization, integration and development.
