On the morning of May 28, at Cam Thuy III High School, the Provincial Youth Union held the Launching Ceremony of the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.
Attending the ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Dau Thanh Tung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Van Chau, Member of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union; Le Van Trung, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Cam Thuy district; Comrade Bui Van Luong, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; and more than 1,000 youth union members of Cam Thuy district.
The Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign is an annual activity, affirming the responsibility and determination of young people in the process of contributing their youth and enthusiasm to the development of the country. The image of young people wearing green volunteer shirts on the roads in difficult areas, remote areas, and border areas has become a familiar and beautiful image, leaving a deep impression on the people. Through the movement, the fire of enthusiasm and creativity of young people has been aroused, becoming a key activity of the Youth Union at all levels, recognized and highly appreciated by the people, Party committees and authorities.

After 25 years of implementation, the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign has been increasingly expanded in scale; the content and methods of operation are constantly innovated, diversified, rich, practical and effective. The 2024 Summer Volunteer Campaign is deployed according to youth groups with 1 program and 4 campaigns taking place from April to August 2024.

Comrade Le Van Chau, member of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, presented the symbol of supporting resources to build the Red Scarf House to the units.
The provincial Youth Union will focus on completing 11 basic targets in key areas such as: 6 poor mountainous districts and extremely disadvantaged communes, coastal areas of districts and cities; communes registered for new rural finishing lines, border communes.
Comrade Phung To Linh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and the sponsor presented the symbol of resource support for the implementation of the lighting line project and the children's playground project to the units.
In order to promote the pioneering and volunteering role of young people in caring for and educating adolescents and children and volunteering for community life, at the ceremony, the Provincial Youth Union supported the construction of 5 red scarf houses (worth 50 million VND/house) and presented gifts to former youth volunteers and students in difficult circumstances.
