Bringing books to young people

Many young people are excited about the book space organized at the Cultural, Sports and Community Learning Center of Phu Loi Ward.

There are thousands of books on display here. Coming to this event, many young people are interested in book “marketing” styles such as discounts of 20-50% on some books; some books are sold by weight: 49,000/kg of books; there are even “blind bag books” priced at only 49,000/product.

Being here for more than 2 hours, the writer noticed that most of the customers were young people. They all seemed excited about this activity as they freely chose the books they liked.

The organization's coordination with the Phu Loi Ward Cultural Sports and Community Learning Center to organize this activity is a good way. This is a meaningful playground for young people, helping them immerse themselves in the space of books, away from phone screens and useless games.

In recent times, in many ways, activities like this have been held more frequently in Binh Duong and attracted many participants. The organizers have been smart and clever in their approach to their customers, which is reflected in the space as well as the books that appear at the event.

According to information from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 will take place from April 15 to May 2 nationwide, with many activities promoting reading culture, spreading the values ​​of books and reading to all classes of people. This is also an annual event to encourage and develop the reading movement, create a favorable reading environment, build reading habits in families, schools, agencies, organizations and communities; discover and honor organizations and individuals who have contributed to the development of books and reading culture in the community, contributing to building a system of cultural values ​​and standards for Vietnamese people.

For reading culture to truly spread, not only in slogans, but there should be many activities to bring books closer to young people, in close, friendly spaces.
