Quang Binh: Welcoming the first direct flight from Taipei (China)

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Binh province welcomed the first passengers on the flight from Taipei (China) - Dong Hoi on the evening of March 31.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has issued flight license No. LD-1046/03/2025VN on March 25, 2025, allowing Vietjet Air to operate the international flight route VDH-TPE-VDH in the period from March 31, 2025 to October 13, 2025 with 26 flights (equivalent to 13 round trips) using A320/A321 aircraft.

Previously, flight VJ7172, VDH- TPE with 90 passengers took off from Dong Hoi airport at 12:40 and arrived at Taipei International Airport (China) at 15:40. The flight marked an important milestone in opening international flights to and from Dong Hoi airport - this is one of the three domestic airports that allow foreigners to enter and exit with electronic visas (Evisa) - according to Resolution No. 127/NQ-CP of the Government issued on August 14, 2023 on the application of electronic visas for citizens of countries and territories; international border gates that allow foreigners to enter and exit with electronic visas.
