The General Staff's Working Group inspected the organization of production and business and military and defense tasks at the Dong Bac Corporation.

On March 31, the General Staff delegation led by Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, conducted a survey and inspection of the actual production organization and implementation of military and defense tasks of the Northeast Corporation.

Colonel Do Manh Kham, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Director of Dong Bac Corporation, spoke at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Colonel Do Manh Kham, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Director of Dong Bac Corporation, reported to the working delegation on the results of production and business tasks, military and defense tasks in 2024 and the direction and tasks in 2025. In 2024, Dong Bac Corporation successfully completed the set production and business targets and plans, specifically: Revenue of VND 28,850 billion, reaching 102% of the plan; pre-tax profit of VND 850 billion, reaching 106% of the plan; budget contribution of VND 3,777 billion, reaching 108% of the plan; average income of VND 21.6 million/person/month, reaching 102% of the plan.

Regarding the implementation of military and defense tasks, on June 21, 2024, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 66/QD-TTg approving the Project on restructuring military enterprises for the period 2021-2025, in which "The State continues to hold 100% of the equity capital of the Northeast Corporation". Since then, the Party Committee and the Command of the Corporation have always closely followed the tasks, led, directed, thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the Ministry of National Defense's Directive on building a comprehensively strong unit "Exemplary, typical", the Command on combat readiness; the Command on military and defense work of the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

The Corporation has organized and maintained a strict combat readiness regime, coordinated with the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command and military units, the police and functional forces in the area to participate in building the national defense, local defense zones, maintaining political security, social order and safety and protecting the lives and property of the unit. Coordinated and coordinated the implementation of tasks to prevent and overcome the consequences of natural disasters, epidemics, search and rescue, protect and prevent forest fires, and protect the environment. Inspected, guided and directed units to organize military training and political education for subjects in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense. Focused on strengthening management, educating discipline and ensuring safety, propagating, disseminating and educating the law for subjects.

Carrying out the tasks of the first quarter of 2025, the Corporation was recognized by the Prime Minister as an enterprise directly serving national defense and security. The Party Committee and Command of the Corporation focused on leading and directing units to do a good job of preparing facilities, books, lesson plans, lectures, models, teaching aids, training grounds, training grounds, etc. and organizing training campaigns according to plan; doing a good job of preparing and organizing Party Congresses at all levels in the Party Committee of the Northeast Corporation towards the 12th Army Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Also at the meeting, Colonel Do Manh Kham proposed a number of recommendations to the Chief of the General Staff and representatives of the agencies in the Working Group according to their functions and professional tasks to regularly monitor and assist the Corporation in all areas, especially in terms of development strategy; organization and staffing; combat readiness training, coordination, and ensuring the Corporation's local defense combat missions in the defense area.

Through the inspection, Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, highly appreciated the efforts, endeavors and achievements of the Northeast Corporation in the past time. He requested that in the coming time, the Corporation should maintain and promote the results achieved in production and business, strengthen national defense, and continue to strive to excellently complete the tasks of 2025 and the following years. The Senior Lieutenant General also requested the General Staff and related units to coordinate and support the Corporation in implementing military and defense tasks according to the policies of the Government, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense.
