Efforts to overcome difficulties

Mr. Le Quang Khanh - Head of Que Son Economic and Infrastructure Department said that in 2023, the district will strive to mobilize many resources to invest in the construction of essential infrastructure in industrial clusters.

Promote administrative procedure reform and actively promote and call for businesses to invest in the area. District leaders, related sectors and local authorities always listen to the voices of businesses.

From there, promptly support to remove difficulties and problems arising in the process of project implementation as well as production and business activities.

In addition to focusing on attracting businesses to invest, Que Son has recently paid special attention to vocational training, supporting the strong development of many new professions to solve employment for rural workers.

With the above efforts, Que Son's industry and handicraft sector has changed positively. In 2023, the district's industrial, handicraft and construction production value will reach more than VND 5,857 billion, an increase of more than 3% compared to 2022.

The trade and service sector of Que Son is increasingly developing, meeting the needs of the people. In 2023, the production value of this sector will reach 2,789 billion VND, an increase of 2.25% compared to 2022.

Que Son's agricultural, forestry and fishery production sector also achieved encouraging results.

Mr. Luu Van Thanh - Deputy Head of the District Department of Agriculture and Rural Development said that in 2023, local farmers cultivated 7,226 hectares of rice and corn. Thanks to the high productivity of these two main crops, last year the total grain output of the district reached more than 42,269 tons, an increase of 2,413 tons compared to 2022.

It is noteworthy that every crop, Que Son farmers cooperate with enterprises to produce nearly 700 hectares of commercial rice seeds and rice, sticky rice, peanuts, and sesame under the method of guaranteeing output. In fact, most of the cooperation models help farmers' income increase by 25 - 35% compared to normal production...

Synchronize solutions

Recently, at a working session with Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Dung and the provincial working delegation, Mr. Dinh Nguyen Vu - Secretary of Que Son District Party Committee said that in the context of facing many difficulties, in 2024 the locality will determine specific plans and solutions in each field for implementation.

Accordingly, continue to make efforts to effectively implement the economic recovery and development program. Speed up the progress of district and regional planning.

Focus on building synchronous and modern infrastructure and developing civilized urban areas. Continue to promote administrative reform, improve the investment environment, enhance competitiveness and innovative start-ups, and improve the quality of human resources.

Notably, the district will strengthen the promotion and call for investment in industrial parks and clusters. Mobilize all resources to invest in developing synchronous infrastructure, in which priority is given to site clearance, investment in developing infrastructure of industrial clusters, irrigation infrastructure, transportation, and urban areas" - Mr. Vu said.

In particular, focus on promoting economic restructuring towards increasing the proportion of industry, construction, trade, services and tourism. Continue to implement the comprehensive and effective restructuring plan of the agricultural sector. Encourage concentrated livestock development, ensuring sustainability, safety and efficiency.

Effectively implement mechanisms and policies to encourage and support the development of collective economy, garden economy, family economy and farms associated with business activities of cooperative economy and cooperatives. At the same time, mobilize, create capital sources and effectively use capital channels for development investment.

Strengthen management, nurture and use revenue sources for the right purposes. Tighten discipline, raise the responsibility of leaders of local Party committees, authorities and units in implementing public investment plans; evaluate disbursement progress for each project, each month, each quarter and take responsibility for the disbursement results of projects...

Mr. Dinh Nguyen Vu said: “This year, Que Son will strive to promote sustainable poverty reduction. Accordingly, we will focus on developing plans and effectively implementing projects to support production development, diversify livelihoods and develop poverty reduction models.

In addition, focus on comprehensively and effectively implementing administrative reform programs, especially reforming, simplifying and substantively implementing administrative procedures associated with implementing the "one-stop" and "interconnected one-stop" mechanisms according to a 4-step process; strengthening the implementation of administrative procedures through online public services at levels 3 and 4...".
