The combat exercise to protect the company is divided into 3 stages: Moving the company into defense status; moving the self-defense force into combat readiness status; organizing combat preparations to protect the company; practicing combat to protect the company.

Part of the mechanism operation exercise: The process of building the determination to fight, making leadership and management resolutions in this exercise of the companies has ensured to be close to reality, the content must be linked to the responsibilities and tasks. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Uyen, Deputy Director, Commander of the Military Command of Cam Pha Port and Logistics Company - Vinacomin, said: "Through this exercise, we have been trained in the working style, command and management methods of the company in defense situations. At the same time, we have adjusted, supplemented, and built a system of plans and documents to ensure the company's operations in defense situations, combat in defense areas, such as: Combat plan to protect the company; Party work plan, political work; work to ensure logistics, technology, finance to ensure the needs of wartime operations and combat in defense areas...".
