Implement Regulation No. 144-QD/TW and Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the Politburo

On the morning of July 9, the Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat held a national conference to disseminate Regulation No. 144-QD/TW dated May 9, 2024 of the Politburo on revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period and Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress.

Attending the conference at the National Assembly House (Hanoi) were Politburo members: President To Lam; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong. Also attending were former President Truong Tan Sang; Politburo members, Secretariat members, Central Party Committee members; leaders of central departments, ministries, branches and organizations. The conference was held in both direct and online formats with the participation of more than 15,600 connecting points nationwide with more than 1.2 million cadres and party members.

In Thai Binh, the conference was connected to over 350 points with over 40,000 delegates attending.

Attending the conference at the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee conference hall were comrades: Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrades of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, National Assembly Delegation; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, and organizations of the province; former provincial leaders, former members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee who are retired in the province.

Delegates listened to Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, disseminate the contents of Regulation No. 144-QD/TW and Instructions for implementing the Regulation; Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Department, disseminate the contents of Directive No. 35-CT/TW.

The dissemination and guidance on the implementation of the contents of Regulation No. 144-QD/TW and Directive No. 35-CT/TW aim to raise awareness and responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres and Party members in implementing the Regulation and Directive. On that basis, Party committees at all levels, departments, branches and localities continue to disseminate, propagate, lead and direct the implementation of Regulation No. 144-QD/TW and Directive No. 35-CT/TW in accordance with their functions and tasks. At the same time, strengthen the fight against wrong and hostile viewpoints, distorted perceptions, push back the degradation of political ideology, ethics and lifestyle, and effectively carry out the political tasks of branches, localities, agencies and units.
