Pho restaurant in Ha Giang city caught fire

(Dan Tri) - Ha Giang City authorities are investigating a fire at a restaurant in Nguyen Trai Ward. Fire and smoke from the fire were billowing high.

On October 24, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, the leader of Nguyen Trai Ward People's Committee, Ha Giang City (Ha Giang Province) said that at about 10:45 a.m. the same day, a fire broke out in a 3-storey house, the first floor of which was a pho restaurant.

The fire created billowing smoke, causing panic among many people (Photo cut from clip).

At the scene, fire and smoke billowed, making many people worried.

"After receiving the news, the Fire Police coordinated with the authorities to go to the scene to put out the fire and search for victims. At around 11:20 a.m. the same day, the fire was extinguished. Fortunately, there were no human casualties," informed the leader of Nguyen Trai Ward People's Committee.

According to the leader, the area where the fire broke out was a densely populated area with many restaurants. The fire was later brought under control and did not spread to surrounding areas.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
